The best place to spend a special wedding anniversary. It truly is exquisite, the food, the gardens, the staff, especially Michel, who made our stay there the best part of our European vacation. If you want luxury in the most beautiful setting, this is it. Loved, loved, loved it. Would definitely visit again.

Room Tip: any room will be wonderful

We spent a couple of days at the Villa Gallici at the beginning of October and absolutely loved the place ! The welcome and staff, could not have been nicer. We arrived the evening of the massive storm affecting the Côte d'Azur, quite impressive. Our room was super luxurious, quite unusual, on three levels. Breakfast was copious and dinner delicious. Within easy walking distance of the town centre. We loved it !

We last stayed in Villa Gallici some years back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had planned to return. This always creates some pressure as one hopes the hotel will again live up to expectations. Happily the hotel did not disappoint. It is a perfect oasis situated a short walk from the main shopping areas and restaurants. Within the hotel and grounds one quickly feels totally relaxed. The decor is stunning matched only by the spectacular grounds and pool. Breakfast and dinner on the terrace is a must and as for the service this is top notch.
Hopefully another return visit is not too far away.

This is the place. Absolute luxury without stuffiness. Tasteful, comfortable, and updated. Service was impeccable. An abundance of fresh roses everywhere.

The layout of the grounds is very well designed. Around several corners there are sculptures and private places to sit and relax. The salt water pool is heated and wonderful, and the space between each grouping of 2 lounge chairs is set up with privacy plants which are subtle and effective (plus luxury magazines and fluffy towels on each lounge).

The spa area is amazing (including fiber optic lighting above the hot tub, fresh fruits, green tea wipes, spa services, etc etc) Don't forget the complimentary ice tea (made of 7? different teas), and the exquisite complimentary cookies in the foyer.

We had a room with a small balcony and view, and couldn't have been more pleased. The room service breakfast (we had omelettes) was perfect. We loved the dinner at their restaurant.

We loved our stay here, and can't wait to return. It's a short walk from town, but worlds away. Treat yourself and splurge.

Room Tip: We had the top floor room at the end of the hotel with a view of the valley. Lovely !

There is nothing modern about the Villa. Everything, from the decor, the food, the attention to detail, even the big metal keys, feels old fashion (but in the good sense of the word). From the moment you set you foot inside until the time you leave, you feel like royalty - be it the renowned head waiter and the rest of the staff, the extra soft linens with the rose petals, or the delicately designed refreshments.
This isn't a regular hotel experience and it is indeed lacking in some of the features and amenities you'd find elsewhere, as others have described. So no, it's not the perfect place for a business traveler or for families. But romantic couples who are looking for the perfect ambiance would treasure it like no other hotel, and for that I give it a 5 stars rating.
