Excellent staff. Friendly helpful and generally nice. Asked about visiting a local wine cave and by the time we came back down he had two free tickets for it. Unasked just really good customer service. Very comfortable room. Lovely comfortable bed. Clean and stylish. Excellent breakfast. Good range of food and funky colour coordinated crockery. We liked it so much we're going to stay on our way back.

This hotel is on the outskirts of the historic city of Saumur, in the Loire Valley. It is modern designed, very comfortable rooms, with very good ensuite. The breakfast is self help, with a variety of breakfast foods. There is also a small bar. The staff are very helpful and speak good English if required.

We fell into this hotel across from the railway station after 41 hours of travelling from Australia..
The man on reception was very friendly, the room clean and very quiet - no train noise!
Bed was super comfortable
Good breakfast with cheeses, pain au chocolate, yoghurt and freshly squeezed juice.
About 10-15 mins pretty walk over 2 bridges to town centre and close to bike shop.

this was a return visit to saumur to enjoy the town and countryside on our motorcycles, the rooms were as usual perfect, and the staff went out of their way to be the ultimate hosts, from room service to front of house, PERFECT, many thanks, we will return soon!

We wanted a reasonably priced hotel for a short stay in Saumur and as our experience of the Ibis chain was good, we opted for the Ibis Style. We chose wisely.
The room was compact but nicely styled and very clean. The double bed was a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, very clean and the shower was hot and powerful.
My initial worries about the closeness of the station (just across the road) were unfounded. You can't here any trains or noise in the bedrooms.
Parking isn't free but then Saumur is short of parking. We opted to pay the 9€ a night for secure parking but there is free on-street parking to the side and back of the hotel should you not want to pay - and the staff told us this, giving us the option. There are only 7 parking spaces however.
The staff are all charming - welcoming, friendly, interested in your experience of the hotel and the city.
There is a bar open all day, until midnight, which was a lovely place to stop off for a drink whilst writing postcards.
The only down side was the air conditioning in our room. It is centrally controlled so you are unable to have the room at the temperature you want.
