Avoid this hotel until at least January 2019. It should have been closed when this scale of demolition is going on. We were there at the weekend, during the week it must be hell with the noise and vibration. And to make matters worse the staff were very poor for a Mercure. The ONLY saving grace was a good quality breakfast.

Room Tip: There is none

Probably better to avoid...unless you get a really good price. Buffet Breakfast was very good. Staff does try to overcome the obstacles of the renovation by assisting guests. One bottle of water per room...per stay. Not daily. Rooms are not real clean.

Room Tip: With construction...it was noisy as early as 7 AM

Do not stay here. I was lied to by their reservation department. The hotel is under a MAJOR RENOVATION. It is a construction sight not a hotel. Our family found in uninhabitable. No parking, no restaurant, no entry, it smells and there are very loud construction noises. I sent pictures and a video to the parent company and they are unresponsive. They will not return my phone calls. Unacceptable and not a nice hotel. Needs to be closed.

Room Tip: Don't stay here until it is renovated.

We chose this hotel because we enjoyed a previous stay here during the last football season. The location is wonderful - a beautiful park next door and all the main attractions within walking distance (although there is a slight hill to negotiate.) Nicolas, on reception, is great - other staff appear to be new &/or temporary possibly just during the disruption.? Although the room sizes are good the whole hotel needs a renovation.... Maybe this will be carried out when the adjoining town Conference Centre rebuild is completed. No hotel car park while building work goes on. The roads outside being dug up for the new tram line .. so dust everywhere. We might stay here again in 2 years - once it has been renovated.?

The hotel in in a good location for visiting the sights of the town. Restaurant not open on a Sunday but you can have room service. There are other restaurants close by. At the moment all the roads in the town are being dug up which makes its difficult to drive around
