This restaurant is in a half cellar, old building, near the central square. It is not one of the typical tourist restaurant in that square. It pretends to be higher quality and this is certainly the case compared to the others in the main square. The dishes are very nicely presented and of high taste quality. We looked at some of the critical comments here before booking a table. "Cellar smell": this is correct, you will smell it upon entering the restaurant, but once you are seated, it is not very clear anymore. "Portions small": correct, but logical given this is a gourmet restaurant. They offer sufficient bread to the hungry.... "Staff not friendly": we thought the staff was somewhat "arrogant" but all in all it was a pleasant experience. One additional comment: the seating is very low. It provides for a special "lounge" atmosphere, but if you are larger than an average frenchman, you may find it challenging to sit there for a longer period of time. Having said all that, we thought it was a pleasurable experience.
