Fabulous building. Eclectic and chic decor but not off putting. Comfortable. French. Delightful

Cannot rate highly enough. Delightful staff. Friendly. Welcoming. Yummy fresh breads and jams for breakfast. Served either in the conservatory or in front of fireplace.

We SO enjoyed our stay here. Cannot recommend highly enough. Go—you won’t regret it.

If you're looking for a small boutique hotel in the heart of Honfleur, you want to stay here. This is a friendly, warm location which feels like you're staying with friends in their very nice, very French home. We loved our room, spacious, comfortable, quiet and furnished beautifully. One caution - our friends stayed in a room with a bathtub but no shower. If that's important to you, make sure that your room has a shower.

I love staying in older boutique hotels and this one did not disappoint! Every public space was decorated nicely and kept quiet and clean. We loved getting together with our traveling friends in the bar area to socialize and relax. The host was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were quiet and plush.
Check in was great. I wish we could have used the outdoor spaces more but the weather didn’t cooperate. Location was great. Would highly recommend this small hotel to anyone wishing a nice relaxing stay in Honfleur.

We arrived Honfleur exhausted with only 2 hours of sleep in 24 to be welcomed warmly by Francois and Hadji...the best concierge duo in my experience. Wonderful quiet courtyard to relax in the sun or shade, enjoy wine or a cocktail. Accomodating and lovely breakfast is provided.. We had a tour starting before the normal.breakfast hour and Francois came in early to provide us breakfast. We asked about a laundromat...and they took.our few items and washed them for us. One of us has a spot on a shirt and Hadji Said... "Give it to me" and voila it was returned spotless. Francois and Hadji and everyone we encountered were gracious and best of all...just fun to be around. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had.

We chose this hotel because of its high rating on TrIpAdvisor. The hotel, named after a famous French poet who once lived there, occupies a large villa near the center of Honfleur, within easy walking distance of the major attractions. It's a delightful place, with very interesting, tastefully designed public areas, as well as comfortable, well appointed guest rooms. The breakfast, served in a very pleasant outdoor courtyard, was excellent. Most importantly, the people were friendly, charming and very helpful, going out their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The high TripAdvisor rating is well deserved.
