Visited here at a really busy peak time. La Bergerie is set in a fabulous location with spectacular views of Honfleur. It is secure with electric gates and to gain the views it is in an elevated position - ok for certain vehicles but definitely not motor bikes due to the shingle covered steep drive way. The host is extremely helpful and nothing seems too much trouble as she is willing to advise and suggest useful information. The gite itself is tidy with all the necessary items you need. It is pet friendly although the garden is not enclosed however there is a great dog walking wood about 10 mins drive away which is ideal. A 10 min walk into town is ideal. Highly recommended and we would return. Our dogs made 2 new friends - namely the resident goats!

La Bergerie was a wonderful place to stay. It is the perfect setting; a rural feel but just a stroll down into the fabulous old town of Honfleur. The owner has decorated La Bergerie beautifully and provided everything you could possibly need to a high spec. There are three seating areas inside and more outside. She has paddocks with some goats to the side, so no neighbours overlooking. There is lots to do in Honfleur; museums, walks, shops, churches and an abundance of restaurants overlooking the harbour. Perfect whether passing through or as a base for a longer break.

We were so pleased to have found this wonderful home and had a fantastic relaxing weekend. Isabelle was very welcoming and helped us settle in nicely. Being situated on a hill overlokking town and the Pont Normande, and only just a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Honfleur La Bergerie is ideally situated.
