Studio29 was everything I had hoped for! The terrace was a little haven for a sneaky drink before dinner. Lynne was the perfect hostess.

I booked a weeks stay in Studio 29 for my husband and myself based on the reviews that I had read on Trip Advisor, and I must say that we were both more than pleased with my choice.
The owner, Lynn, lives on site and is friendly, welcoming and unobtrusive. The Studio itself is based at the end of Lynn's walled garden and is reached by walking through a passage from one of the main streets in Honfleur. As others have said, once the garden is reached there is total peace and quiet, apart from the ringing of the church bells (although these stop at around 9.00 pm).
The Studio is beautifully fitted out with great use being made of the space available. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen area was provided with everything that was necessary to produce basic meals. The seating area for eating is a bit restricted (there is a breakfast bar) but if you are lucky, as we were, a table and chairs are provided on the secluded private patio and meals can be enjoyed out there. Take some candles and enjoy the atmosphere!
We had driven to Honfleur and Lynn told us where to park for free about eight minutes walk away, which was a great bonus.
For anyone thinking of booking, I would also say that having been to other self-catering establishments which were not so well equipped, I went armed with loads of things that I thought I needed for the week, such a washing up liquid and cloths etc., but Lynn provides not only these necessities but also shampoo, soap and shower gel, She also leaves a selection of tea bags, ground coffee and sugar. Towels and bed linen are changed every three to four days and supplies of toilet rolls replenished.
I cannot fault anything about Studio 29 and I would recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking of visiting Honfleur. My only reservation would be that there are steps up to the Studio which might make it difficult to access for anyone with limited mobility but we will certainly be going back at sometime in the future.

This studio is located on a busy street in the centre of touristic Honfleur but once through the door you are in a quiet garden studio. The studio is well furnished and clean. The host Lynne made us feel very welcome and has thoughtfully equipped the studio with everything from good cooking utensils to some excellent DVDs. Her advice on restaurants and local amenities was accurate and reflected her knowledge of the place. An excellent place to stay.

An ideal location in the centre of Honfleur. Fantastic studio. Perfect for couples and small families. Honfleur is charming and well worth the visit. Would fully recommend a stay at Studio 29.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Studio 29 in July 2014.
The studio is situated at the bottom of Lynn, the owner's garden, which is accessed through the hallway of her house. It is contemporary and compact, but has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We pulled up outside to unload the car and then parked in a free car park a 5 minute walk away.
The location is excellent. The Studio is very quiet but when we walked out of the front door there is a restaurant opposite and a huge variety of bars, restaurants and shops nearby.
Lynn is extremely friendly and helpful and gave advice on the locality. Honfleur is a beautiful place and I hope we will return.
