Excellent location for a comfortable apartment right in the centre of Honfleur.
Seconds away from everything you need for a great stay, good restaurants, bars - and there is a cheese and cider shop by the front door!
Would definitely recommend.

“Pleasant”

The primrose apartment is perfectly situated in the centre of Honfleur, allowing to wander in the charming streets and come back as soon as you need it. After a brief stop right outside the apartment to leave your luggage, you can easily park your car; just continue into the one way street from the appartment (Rue Brulee etc…), and you will find two parking lots on your right (the first against payment, the second free of charge connected to a primary school). You can left your car there for the during of your stay, if not needed, and walk back to Primrose.
The apartment is located on the first floor and accessed through narrow stairs, typical of the area. You will enter the flat directly in the kitchen, with place for hanging coats and leaving shoes in the corridor right outside the kitchen. A cosy sitting room, in continuation of the open kitchen, makes preparing diner very social if you are a larger party. There is everything needed (water boiler, ovn, microwave, toaster, dish washer). There are three comfortable double bedrooms, so very convenient for three couples or 6 friends who are not ”afraid” to share double beds and double duvets. We did not use the sofa as a bed so we cannot comment on the sleeping quality. However, we did check the two matresses in the mezzanine. There are located in one of the bedrooms at the back and the stairs are to be pulled down. If you choose the bedroom at the front, be aware that you may hear some noice on satursdays due to the market starting at 6 am. Otherwise, the apartment is quiet and very pleasant. Two bathrooms, with toilets, are a pluss when being 6 persons. One is equipped with a great shower (fixed in the roof), and the other one has a bathtub, which can also be used as a shower.
You may find two bakeries in rue du Dauphin, very closeby (open at 7 and 6.30 am). There is also a carrefour shop at the entrance of the village, if you need groceries. Otherwise, the market on saturdays is marvelous. There are also a lot of restaurants where you will enjoy tastefull food. If you are in the mood for shopping, you will find enough small shops to spend a couple of days discovering them (very nice jewleries for ex.). If you prefer walking, you will find the port, two parks and a beach to wander in. Rouen and Trouville are worthwhile visiting if you are in the area.

“Great Location - clean and charming”
Reviewed 14 August 2014 for a stay in June 2014

I stayed there with a friend, her 2 teenage kids and mine for one night only - Would have liked to stay longer - the place was clean - Unfortunately, the next morning the water wasn't working the tenant downstairs had cut it off due to a leak. The place is very well located and quite quiet. You only have to walk up one floor. I loved it! My only negative comment was that the wi-fi was not working and couldn't reboot bc the router was in another apartment on another floor that was occupied.

“Good Base In Honfleur”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

As 3 couples we stayed here for 5 days, it is very central and looks out on a busy square where the Saturday market is held. There are 3 double bedrooms, one with a hand washbasin, 2 bathrooms (although one has only a shower and not a bath), plus a living room/kitchen.
We were all happy with our choice, it was comfortable and there was plenty of space for 6 adults. Some of the fixtures and fittings are a little tired but the apartment has plenty of charm and was really what I expected from self catering town centre accommodation. It was clean and there was a dishwasher (once we had learnt how to switch it on) and a washing machine.

“The Comforts of Home and More”
Reviewed 10 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Our 4th visit to Honfleur and the best apartment for facilities and location. We were a couple I this large apartment. The apartment we had booked is being decorated. A real bonus.
Overlooking the square where the market visits on Saturdays. All our fresh goods on the doorstep. Fresh bread 30 yards away also same for butchers. A long walk of 5 mins to all other amenities.
Honfleur is the most beautiful of places to waIk around. Restuarants by the dozen. Some good and some really good. Bus service to a number of towns is cheap and convenient.
The apartment is very well fitted out. Good kitchen and sitting area. Quality bedding and lovely bathrooms.
Helpful Amanda on hand if required, recommends some places to eat as well as arranging the mid stay change of linen.
Free parking is great if a bit from the apartment.
If visiting Honfleur this is a great place to stay.
