The hotel and gardens are beautiful and tucked away in the wonderful village of Honfleur. Walking into the lobby you are greeted with warmth both from the people and the woody/apple smell wafting through.
We had a first floor room with a narrow balcony. The room was clean and also very "woody" which was pleasant. The bathroom fell a bit shy of romantic and luxurious but overall the room was comfortable.
Wifi is very limited - but not to worry as there is a lot to do.
The spa is well appointed - but the changing rooms were sparse. The pool and jacuzzi looked very inviting. I had a apple massage which was expertly provided and relaxing.
The main disappointment was the food, both the breakfast spread and the evening dinner. Maybe i had high hopes but i found the food in town more enjoyable.
Again, the service and staff were wonderful. It would get 4.5 if that was an option.More
