Wonderful hotel full of History. Five strar deluxe stay at a cozy homely hotel. Great, great restaurante and very comfortable rooms. Swimming pool and deck areas are so enjoyable it was hard to leave the hotel to stroll down the wonderful little cobbled streets of Honfleur.

We stayed 3 nights at Saint Siméon from Sunday to Wednesday and couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel. The service was impeccable, the buildings and surroundings breathtaking and the spa a welcome respite for winding down after a day of sightseeing.

La Ferme Saint Simeon was by far our favorite hotel during travels through France last summer. We were greeted by exceptional staff with a lovely glasses of champagne and wonderful little appetizers and invited to sit in the comfortable sitting area/lobby overlooking the gardens. They even were kind enough to bring a special plate over for our 14-month old granddaughter. Although the hotel was on the more expensive side, we found the rooms to be very large and lovely, opening up to beautiful views. They were very well appointment and we loved the history, original architecture and picturesque gardens. Our party had a total of 3 rooms, one in the original building and 3 in the newer area. The hotel is in a very quiet area but yet a very quick walk down the road and hill into the quaint little town of Honfleur. Dinner was exceptional and expensive (a bit grand for our American tastes - meaning too much food) in the dining room although thoroughly enjoyed it.

Would absolutely return to La Ferme Saint Simeon and Honfleur - wished we would have stayed here longer.

Room Tip: All areas seemed quiet. We stayed on 2nd and 3rd floors and had 4 rooms.

The moment you arrive La Ferme Saint Simeon your know you are are for a treat. The feeling of the grounds, the buildings and the staff coalesce into a feeling of tranquility, care and beauty. Situated on a hillside overlooking the water and a only a few minute stroll to heart of Honfluer, La Ferme is more than a hotel it is a vacation from the ordinary into a space of art and culinary delights. The staff of La Ferme adds to all its visual pleasures. It is expensive, yet I felt real value for the money spent.

Room Tip: Pick a modern suite or an older room depending on the experience you want

Having stayed in another Relais & Chateau (Ch Audrieu) the night before, it was an easy comparison.
The dinner was expensive and the white wine warm--not even slightly chilled so by the time it had been plunged into an ice bucket most of the food had been eaten. Standard of rooms was 'average'.

Stayed: June 2016
