A very good overnight hotel with free parking.A few minutes down hill walk to town and
just a few minutes up hill to the Basilica.(must see.)
The room on the 2nd floor was very large with a good sized bathroom. It was spotless.
The evening meal was excellent.
The staff were very pleasant.
This is a good reasonably priced hotel not too far off the motorway.
Woul'd stay here again

Room Tip: 2nd floor rear.

I have used this hotel on many occasions when returning home from a trip to Le Mans after the 24 hour race. It is not far from either Dieppe or Le Havre. The hotel is one of the few that opens its restaurant on Sunday evenings. The rooms are small but good enough for the star rating. The proprietor is always pleased to see us and welcomes us when we arrive. The service in the restaurant is OK but the food is very good for the price. Breakfasts are not inspiring particularly for the price. The bar is not well stocked so we usually go to the bar next door for a few drinks before our meal.
Given that we require a meal on a Sunday evening we will continue to use the hotel, otherwise we would probably go somewhere else.

Just about an hour from the ferry at caen this makes a great stopover if you are travelling in Normandy. We arrived late with no booking but the owner could not have been more helpful. I was a bit concerned about the wear on the stair carpet but our room - 9 was immaculate and had a great bathroom.
Did not eat there but looks like it does all the traditionnal norman stuff. Nice breakfast and coffee and we were on our way.
Room was great value for 68 euros -after all it is a logis.
Just down the road is the very impressive basilica - well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Always look at the room before you commit.

We stayed here for one night (a sunday) on a motorbike trip. We didn't fancy staying in the usual chain hotels on the outskirts so we just pitched up. The family who run the hotel are lovely and very, very helpful. There is parking at the back but they opened their "garage" for us to put the bike in. The "garage" was a roll shuttered shop front next door so I had to ride along the footpath and up a couple of small steps - well it is France! There was a cycle rack so I assumed that cycles usually went in there. The hotel is a little dated but our room on the top floor was clean with a brand new bathroom. The wifi was very quick and free. We didn't eat in the hotel - breakfast wasn't included in the price. The town, on that Sunday night, was very quiet. The hotel is just down the hill from the Basilica and a few minutes walk to the Cathedral.

A family run hotel. The rooms are all clean and newly decorated. The restaurant is open on a sunday, somewhat of a raratity in rural france and the food served is based on local produce and recipies from the calavdos area.
