I decided to stay at l'Hotel du Golf rather than the Normandy as I wanted to play a round of golf. I was pleased with the room facing the golf course. Comfortable room, hot water runs well. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff at the front desk was very attentive. The morning breakfast was very good. If you want to have dinner in Deauville or Trouville, you need a car. A mere 15 minutes drive.

Room tip: ask for a room facing the golf course

If you are a golfer this is an incredible hotel and even just for dinner or lunch. The rooms are beautiful, the meals are varied and excellent and the service is incredible. This is a weekend town for Parisiens but this hotel is also for week day guests who play golf.

Majestuous big hotel but cosy at the same time . Our room was large for the three of us facing the parking but the green hills nonetheless and very comfortable with two television screens and a terrasse .

The hotel is a golf hotel with an outside heated pool which was open which was amazing for October as it was sunny .The Mattresses around the pool were thick , very comfortable as well as the spa .

Suggestion : you should have a big box outside so people can put their towels inside there before going away instead of living everything outside which didn't look very nice .

There is free wifi working v well and free parking both appreciated .
There is room service with delicious food for everyone as well as breakfast . Staff lovely .

Being with my two teenagers, we decided to do room service rather than having our meals in the main hotel Restaurant .
For relaxation first of all but also because after having dinner there the first evening - we decided never again : All the staff there was friendly and pleasant except the head of the dining room dark hair dressed in grey who was the rudest person I met in a while and very unpleasant.

We were very early , no one was there and after asking him to have a table by the window, he answered back in an unacceptable style when addressing clients . I was very shocked as there are ways to say things .

Also there was a long wait for breakfast on Sunday morning ... I think they need some reorganisation there as it doesn't work well....

Anyway we had a fabulous time . Ali and Michel at the concierge desk were super helpful to reserve a few things for us which was highly appreciated.

We will be back as location was wonderful for us .

Very impressive building overlooking an excellent golf course, but at least a 15 minute drive into Trouville or Deauville.
Very good well thought out and decorated bedroom of a good size on 4th floor. Disappointed by High prices for food and drink which discouraged useage of bar and restaurant area, the busiest we saw the restaurant for dinner over the three days of our stay was 10 customers. Hotel shuttle into Deauville only runs at weekends. Reception and cleaning staff very good, but breakfast and restaurant staff too formal and unfriendly. Lots for management to work on here to match the food and drink offering to suit the clientele.

My advice would be not to book when a conference is being held at the hotel, as it seemed to impact on the service we received. An example would be at breakfast when the chef was running between the conference room and the main dining room.
