Decent size room, small bathroom with very small shower (#221). WiFi was unusable in the back corner of hotel where my room was located. Overlooks streets that many university kids frequent until 4-5am, making sleep difficult. Breakfast was quick and easy, but no hot food. Fits my needs, but those looking for hot food will be disappointed. Staff on all shifts were wonderful. Metro station Jean Jaures is a 2 min walk from lobby, with access to both A & B metro lines. Trip from airport via taxi was very expensive (>40 euro), went to meet colleague who arrived later and took tram+metro for 2 euro and about 40 minutes (same as taxi in traffic). SNCF station Matabiau is only 1 metro station away.

Room tip: central rooms will avoid noise from university students enjoying the night life; Must ask front desk to enable AC, but they gladly do

Firstly, the parking IS difficult to find, but you are right in the heart of Toulouse so this is to be expected. When the hotel guide you, the parking is actually very convenient (although you drag your cases 200 yards to the hotel). Reception service was decent and their English was good. We had room with a balcony and the sun was out so very pleasant before setting off on our travels. The room was relatively basic and quite small, but again this was a cite centre room. The location was excellent and, after a little orientation, the walk into the town centre was only about 10 minutes. Room was quiet, bathroom was quite modern. Breakfast was a disappointment as we there was no staff and next to nothing left - despite there being more than an hour left of breakfast time. Then we had to drag the cases back to the car and travel up an dodgy life to get there. Overall conclusion is that this is a great place for location, the rooms are reasonably modern and tidy, parking is secure and available and the only let down was the breakfast.

Room tip: Get a room with a balcony facing towards Toulouse centre - and enjoy the sun. Get up early for breakfast or there will be none left!

While I expect a certain compromise on cleanliness when staying in a two-star hotel, (it did not disappoint) I wonder why this hotel's cost is more like a three, or four-star. Hotel Mercure, a four-star and 100m down the road had posted prices at only €35 more per night.
Reception staff were kind and professional, crumbs and hair on the couch, stains on the bedcover, food left on the common stairs did not make for good standing. Is this what €150/night buys?

From a positive view the reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, and the hotel is near to the centre of town. The downside is the room smelt of smoke, was extremely basic , needed decorating and did not feel clean ,..the floors meant every noise could be heard and the whole feel was a very basic motel ... It was extremely expensive for the accommodation provided ...
