As a luxury adventure blogger at world-adventurer.com I've stayed in many luxury hotels in Europe. Grand Hotel de l'Opera is a fine example of a restored hotel that maintains its charm while providing all the modern luxuries.

Here's what I loved about the stay:
- History: Walking through the hotel you feel like you are in a special place and can imagine the history held within the walls.
- Style: The decoration exudes style and elegance in rooms and common areas.
- Trendy: Keep your eye out for celebrities.
- Location: Right in the center of the old city next to the Opera House, this is the perfect place to base your Toulouse touring.

I had no complaints. The parking was even valet so I didn't have to hunt down a space.

If visiting Toulouse, be sure to check out this hotel for a unique experience!

Nice hotel, rooms could be updated, great location and staff very helpful. They speak very good English which made it easier for us. We had two small children with us and they catered for them very well.

Great, warm traditional and stylish. Staff exceptionally helpful and welcoming.
The hotel is ideally situated for restaurants, shops and, of course, the Opera.
Rooms are 'lush'!

Toulouse is not a good or easy city to be in a wheelchair. The staff in this hotel were in every way helpful but the management has not made sufficient adjustments or investment for disability so one can feel greatly disadvantaged in a wheelchair.
