Idiosyncratic and quite charming.
The hotel lies in its own private grounds, a short drive north on the main road to Tarbes. The terrace in front of the house boasts good views of the Pyrenees.
We heard practically no traffic noise
A one night stay with my wife for the occasion of an Anniversary, having spent a wonderful sunny October day in the mountains.
We were the only guests, but such is the intimacy of the house it felt like being in a private home. There are only a few rooms, ours was spacious with excellent bathroom facilities. Most of the furnishings are beautiful antiques, all adding that extra degree of quality
The breakfast lounge is full of character and our host served a very generous repast. From freshly squeezed Orange juice to local jams a delight to start the day.
The hotel is only open from April to October, be sure to book.
And in comparison to the soulless hotels in town a gift at €89 B&BMore
