The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station.
It was clean and the staff very welcoming.
The rooms were ok and the air conditioning was very welcome. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The beds were a little hard and so not very comfortable but all in all it was good value for money.

On arrival at the hotel we were offered a special parking rate at a nearby car park for around €15 or €17 a day. I cannot remember the exact amount as we declined and found free on street parking close by. On entering the room we were most surprised to find a mobile air conditioning unit piped out through the patio doors onto the balcony which was actually a fire escape. This meant we couldn't close our room door if we wanted the AC on. We contacted the receptionist to say we weren't happy about this as other people could enter our room and were shocked to be told that only hotel guests had access to the fire escape and why would they want to enter our room? Does this invalidate your travel insurance? We were offered an alternative room to which we could have taken the AC unit with windows rather than doors but this was street facing, not as modern and much noisier than the original room. As we were only staying overnight with very little luggage and our valuables were in my handbag we opted to stay in the first room. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom door didn't close and whilst the shower was very powerful, it flooded the bathroom floor. The hotel is in a very good position and is a good option for a budget hotel however we would not return as we have had better accommodation for the same price in Perpignan.

Room Tip: Quieter rooms are inside facing

Had an unexpected 2 day stop over in Perpignan, so this was a last minute booking.
But great value for money.
The staff were great at finding a room that works for our family. Rooms are clean, nice and minimal.
Good breakfast.
Hotel has a lift.
Close to the historical centre, close to good food and shops.

Well placed for discovering the old Center. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room we had on the 5th floor was nice with a balcony but would have liked a shower that was fixed to the wall! Breakfast was average and the parking was a short walk away which cost 15€ for the night.

Although the receptionist that took over duties was more accommodating and moved us from the awful room ( beware Rm 33) we'd been allocated, the receptionist on arrival ( dark haired) was on the defensive literally as we entered the reception. The breakfast area wasn't terribly inviting either.
