The hotel is situated a few minutes’ walk from the old centre. The room we had was not in accordance with a 4-star rating however the price was reasonable cheap for an adequate room, so you can say you get what you pay for. In a pretty forgettable place really, not much charm, catering probably more for the business market.

5 Mins walk to main shopping area. Quite a small hotel, however our room was quite spacious with a small lounge area all clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, breakfast was extra, however, there are plenty of small cafes within a couple of minutes walk.

Phew! When you cycle across the Pyrenees from Biarritz to here (700 kms) there are certain things that you are looking forward to - particularly in the height of summer. Perpignan gets hot - really hot.

This hotel has:
1. Central location for access to great food
2. Air conditioning you can set yourself
3. Firm mattress and good linen, range of pillows
4. TV with remote to watch the latest stage of the Tour de France
5. Mini-bar for emergencies
6. Hot, roomy shower
7. Toilet seperate to bathroom
8. Kettle, cups, tea bags.

This hotel has all of that - no mean feat - and we were deeply appreciative. It was also quiet and the staff were very helpful.

At this end of a tour, the ‘first breakfast / snooze / second breakfast’ approach is also a definite possibility or even, necessity, so impoverished is your body from all that climbing of mountains. This manoeuvre was successfully executed by 2 members of our group and they were extremely pleased. The vast range of cold (pastries, yoghurts, fruit) and hot (potato cakes wow!) foods was magnificent, allowing for a great finale and relaxing lie-in almost at the same time.

Compared to the prices demanded by some hotels in this town with NONE of the points 1-8 above to their credit, you cannot go wrong here. Great value!

We reached Perpignan very late and missed our appointment with the Airbnb host. We just lost our way in the dark in a myriad of roundabouts. Luckily, we passed by Best Western!. One of us is the Best Western's cardholder so we stopped, tried our luck for a room for 4 using her accumulated points. Thank God, the staff was very helpful and checked us in - in a flash! We had a room with nice view. Thank you!

Sizzling weather in Perpignan this week and a very warm welcome from reception staff at this excellent hotel.
Room with small balcony overlooking the park was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. King size bed was extremely comfortable and very good shower. Small downside was lack of drawer or cupboard space.
In room coffee and tea making facilities.
Ideally situated for town centre with good choice of restaurants and bars nearby.
Staff could not have been more helpful or friendly.
