I made a reservation at this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. I mentioned in this reservation that my boyfriend has a lactose allergy and that it was his birthday. In the conformation the restaurant asked which one of us had the allergy and which one of us had his birthday. That was promising!
The restaurant itself was amazing. Great atmosphere. A small but promising menu and a few amuse like dishes as a plus on the menu. However, after being asked to switch tables for another guest, the first of those dishes was made of cheese. So much for taking into account the lactose allergy. When we spoke to the owner, which was difficult because he hardly spoke any English, he asked the chef to adjust the dishes. At that time we should have left. The dishes that followed were ok, but not that good. Plain and not especially tasty. We left after not finishing our main course. The owner didnt charge is for the full menu, which was a nice guesture, but didnt make up for alte fact that our special evening didnt work out. A missed opportunity.
