222LRH says this hotel was overpriced- she and I paid 130 euros for the room and another 20 for breakfast and parking, i.e. 150 a night in total. I notice (a month later) the price offered is 67 euros - much more appropriate.

Overall the accommodation was quite basic and therefore overpriced. The location is great, only a short walk into the centre and the sea. Car park (secure) a bonus as parking not easy in Collioure though it cost 10 euros a night extra. Room light and comfortable with small balcony which had a nice view of the opposite hillside. Room could have been cleaner, for example the bed cover was filthy around the edges and table shelf was dusty. Others have mentioned a fridge, we didn't find one. Having a safe in the room was good. We were on the third floor and there was no lift - while not really a problem for us it could be for others. Noise bounced off the street into the room, fortunately not much traffic at night, only people noise but hard to filter out even with doors closed. Continental breakfast was good, reasonable choice, again at extra cost. Staff were pleasant and helpful, reception closed overnight. Would have given a higher score had the price been more reasonable for what is essentially a budget hotel.

Room Tip: Maybe rooms at the back quieter? if stairs are a problem ask for ground floor.

This hotel is well situated at about a six minute walk to the beautiful beach. The rooms are bright and have good storage space, the area is very quiet for sleeping and the breakfast is good. Eggs, cereal, excellent bread, fruit, yogurt, juices, cheeses. You will not go hungry. This is a good central place to stay.

We stayed here for 6 nights and during that entire time we could not get someone to fix the bathroom door. It was a sliding door that came off its track and we had to tug and pull hard just to get it closed a few inches. Our room was just above the parking garage and the hotel had no elevator, just stairs. Would not recommend this place.

Hotel Mediterranee Collioure

Perfect for visiting Collioure. We found this hotel online while doing a road trip through Spain and France. They have their own parking garage ( free), so once you are checked in you can explore the village center which is a couple of streetsover and it’s many restaurants and have a drink or two as you don’t have to worry about driving anymore. The rooms are big enough and clean with a nice size bathroom and balcony. There is a small fridge which we didn’t discover until check out as it is in a cupboard on the balcony. It would nice to have a sign somewhere for that. Free Wifi too. We did not do the breakfast option but it looked good. Continental buffet style. Check-in and check-out were smooth.
Don't forget to do a tour of the castle! It is awesome.
