Upon arriving you see a stone building that has history written all over. The parking is very small, so parking can be a little tricky, but manageable. Once you park your car, you will not need it for your visit. We were there for 3 days and did not use the car at all.
You walk into a small reception area, you are greeted with smiles and a very warm reception. You are given a key with a brass key plaque, which you leave at the reception when you go out. There is always someone available to give you the key upon your return. The hotel is old, but it does have a lift, so you do not need to carry your luggage up the stairs, and it is small but you and your luggage are able to fit.
The rooms are very quaint with old France charm, which I adore. It does have air condition. The bed we had was very comfortable. The bathroom is updated with modern conveniences. I really enjoyed it.
You are able to walk to the center of town in about ten minutes. The Pettit train to the medieval city is just across the hotel.
If you want to experience France with history, this is your hotel. It is not a modern hotel, but it is very comfortable and enjoyable.More
