“Amazing galettes / crepes and friendly owner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2011

This is easy to find on the way between the city centre and the medieval city. We have the galettes as our main course (goats cheese and leek / mushrooms, ham and cheese) and both were really tasty and beautifully presented. The cider in the bowl was nice too. The sweet crepes were even nicer. Owner really friendly and spoke great English so we had a good chat.

“An Unexpected Slice of Brittany in Southern France”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2011

There are lots of creperie in France, but few outside Brittany actually make good, traditional crepes. I love crepes and eat them as often as I can, but Creperie Le Ble Noir is the first review-worthy creperie I've visited in a while.

The restaurant serves a delightful selection of traditional gallette (a buckwheat crepe) with savory fillings such as ham, cheese or mushroom along with more adventurous fillings like duck breast, goat cheese or fig. They also serve a nice selection of sweet crepes with a good selection of jams, spreads or served plain with butter and sugar. The fixed-price lunch menu was a bargain.

“Nice crepes”

A good spot to stop for a crepe and coffee. Both inside and outside seating, although not much inside.
