...some of my colleagues regularly bring takeaways from Papa's burgers, and I had tasted the chips, so I decided to see for myself. Now I know.
Menu is compact, there's a total of 8 burgers to choose from, so why am I left waiting for what seems to be an eternity to get my order? I got the top of the range burger, 14€, including fries. Lemonade is 1€ extra (why!) Mayonnaise, 15ml (about a teaspoon worth) is 3€. That's just daytime robbery. The burger, undercooked and mushy (and they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked) was nothing to write on TripAdvisor about, so I won't.
Undeterred, I asked for dessert and cappuccino. Dessert was a speculoos and pear mousse, nice, but I'm sure your nearest supermarket has something just as unique, and there's no cappuccino so I had a long coffee which wasn't bad but at this stage I no longer cared.
Global damage 20.40€, this is real restaurant prices and you're served on a paper printed tablemat and plastic cups, fork and knife are optional, and aside from hygiene considerations, at that price I expect a plate.
Tourists can be skinned. As a resident of Versailles... never again.
