I've been to many pubs in the UK that feel a lot less authentic than this. For example by not serving draught beer. You can stay in France. The draught bombardier is excellent here and the atmosphere is as typical as it gets. Alright the ale costs more than in London but you'd need to drink an awful lot of it to justify the air fare.

We spotted this place while visting the Pantheon and found that is was a truly authentic English pub serving a good selection of cask ales (mainly Wells brewery) which was a bit surprising.
It was so authentic that it was a bit grubby inside but this was fine with us.
The beer was good but a little bit expensive and crisps from Lincolnshire were 2 euro per bag, however we enjoyed the experience (especially after drinking poor quaity Kronenberg for the previous 2 days).
We didn't try the food so I can't comment.

Good selection of beers and interesting layout. Seating outside. Does get quite crowded but it's nevertheless a nice respite for a good pint while sightseeing through Paris.

I was in Paris for the PSG v Chelsea Champions League match and wanted to find somewhere to eat (and drink). Having arrived in Paris at midday, I figured that by the time I got to the Bombardier it would be a good time to eat. The staff spoke English and were very friendly. Most of the clientele were French, but a few of us Brits had found our way there. There food was as good as you would expect in France and I was delighted to find that they were selling Henry West cider. Stayed there for quite some time watching football on the TVs, until it was time to begin making a move back across Paris.

We've been visiting The Bombadier for quite a few years now and we enjoy it more each time we visit.

Invariably packed to the rafters and sometimes difficult to find space, when you do find a seat you will not be in a hurry to leave.

The atmosphere is friendly and full of locals and tourists of all ages.

One of our favourite bars in Paris.
