We went to this cafe for lunch in late June & returned for dinner on our last night in Paris. Worth booking for dinner, as it's pretty small. We were early for lunch so got a table on the terrace. really good people watching facing the little square. Seems to be a fairly local place; the waiter was charming and spoke very little english but our french was good enough to converse and read the french menu.
Fish rillettes were spectacular! My daughter had the mozzarella with almonds and eggplant and loved it so much she had it again the evening we returned. The menu is small and well considered; modern, simple french food, respecting ingredients and flavours without too much mucking about!
I had a very nice glass of rose with my lunch and 2 very good Kir's with my dinner.
Great convivial atmosphere and plenty of people stopping by for a glass of wine on their way home.
