Initially having seen other reviews of this 'boutique' hotel which ranged from the very good to the bad i was doubtful about my choice however having met the staff on reception and seen the room (before paying) my doubts were allayed and never resurfaced throughout our 4 day stay.
Our large room (unusual for Paris) was warm, super clean, quiet and adequately furnished with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean with a good hot shower.
Breakfast, included in the price was simple but adequate.
The only down side is the spiral staircase which would be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. There is a lift which I understand may not service all floors..

Found this hotel on the internet. The hotel is a small one star hotel. A small decent room nothing to boost about, clean bathroom with basic amenities. Location is good, near to metro and bus station. But not at all a tourist area although safe with many eateries especially halal. Breakfast is the worst thing and should not be included in the price. Good supermarkets around. Staff is very cooperative, and helpful.

The hotel is very close to a line 2 metro station in an animated neighborhood with bars and restaurants open till late. Basic but very ok for a weekend. Very "French" breakfast with baguette, jelly-jams and coffee.

Found this hotel on the internet and hoped that the reviews given were true, and yes they were, this hotel is simple but clean and the owner speaks English, in front of the hotel there is a supermarket and the Metro Menilmontant is a few minutes from the hotel, in the neighborhood there are many restaurants, bars and shops, breakfast in the hotel is early and until 9.30 in the morning, there is no lift in the hotel but by reservation I advise to phone the hotel and try to arrange a room on the first floor if necessary.....what was not so nice is that the room cleaning starts early in the morning and was pretty noisy, street noise was not very disturbing......so basic a good hotel

Room tip: High floors are less noisy

The hotel is easy to locate between 2 subway stations, not very close to the turist area but yoi can go with the subway

We had a room on the 4th floor (3th floor for EUR) no elevator so terrible for luggage

The breakfast was poor a 1/3 of bagget with jam or butter and a coffee and milk or milk and chocolate

The bed was terrible, curved, terrible for the back

The bathroom was reformed and was good
