The hotel is in a wonderful location near the Louvre on a side street... you're near everything, but have the privacy of a quiet street. The rooms are small, (this is Europe), but beautifully done! Bed was comfortable, ac worked well, bathroom was beautiful and and our room had windows that opened onto a beautiful courtyard!

Gym is small but well appointed and restaurant for breakfast was well done even i under renovation for one of our two days.

Service was wonderful... both Concierges we encountered could not have been more helpful and friendly. Front desk was efficient and lovely.

All in all a wonderful stay in a small hotel that was attentive when needed, but still savvy enough to let you be when appropriate.

Would return and do recommend.

Room Tip: upper floor overlooking courtyard

A truly wonderful small and personal hotel in central Palace. The star of the show is the staff, each and everyone was friendly, professional and welcoming which made our stay especially memorable, thank you. Thank you!

Room Tip: We chose a higher floor hotel which provided a lovely nigh time view of Mont-martre.

Everything was lovely about this hotel. The location is literally one walking minute to the Louvre. The bar in the hotel is lovely and you can sit outside in the square weather permitting. If you do not want to eat in the excellent hotel restaurant you can walk out the front door to Bistro Valois which was good too. Easy walking to Musee D’Orsay - 15 mins - all flat and a lovely crossing of the Seine - plus the rooms were also very nice. Quite straight forward and modern - I was in room 102- a bit disconcerting as the windows looked right into the square so I kept the sheers closed - but very nice. My niece was in Room 103 - and this is the only negative I have about this hotel - she noted
that there was some noise discernible from the next room.
But overall we agreed it was a very good experience.

This will be our first choice for any trip to Paris. The location-outstanding. The staff - awesome and responsive. The concierge Thiebault is a treasure. The rooms - the best we're experienced in the region. Bottom line - a 5-star hotel & experience.

I have stayed at many of the classic 5-star hotels in Paris, but I much prefer Grand Hotel du Palais Royal. The quality of the hotel staff is exceptional, and the service is very personalized and attentive. The guest rooms and facilities are lovely and understated, as well as perfectly maintained. There is no better location. When in Paris, I will always stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 607 has a lovely balcony.
