This Novotel is a great choice in Paris.
Location is very convenient. One can either walk inside the Montparnasse train station and get there at the Hall 3 or walk from the Pasteur Metro station. They have a Taxi station as well.
Rooms are spacious for Paris (I am used to American standards so the small Paris hotels always feel oppressing). It's very very clean, great amentiies: I chose their superior room that comes with a Nespresso coffee machine, a full minibar, sleepers, robes etc. I had a room on the 8th floor with 2 large windows (even had a partial Eiffel Tower view).
Everything is modern, the shower has two heads one at the tub level and one for standing showers.
Many power outlets near beds and the desk. I recommend bringing Europe to US plug adapters as they don't have US outlets.
Only drawbacks: for my room I was really close to the elevators and could hear them but muted enough that it was not issue for sleeping etc. Other detail they don't have an iron in the room and you must request one (I asked for one at the reception in person but indicated I was going out and would use it later, they said they would send one but never got it, I think you have to request one while you are in your room)
They have a fantastic buffet option as well (American style)
On weekends the crowd is very international.
I enjoy running and a mile down Pasteur and Breteuil is the Seine river with long banks for runners
A tip: prepay in advance for better rates and download the Accor app for early checking etc
Conclusion: Until I find a spacious hotel with a better location I will continue returning here.
