Room was a decent size and fairly centrally located, desk and maintenance staff were nice, but the hotel itself is in need of new carpet, wallpaper, furniture, paint. Mold on ceilings and in bathrooms, stained, torn carpets. Really annoying motion sensor lights that dont work properly so you're often trying to activate the lights in nearly pitch black hallways and stairs, even during the day. Mini fridge barely kept things below room temp but ac worked well. Neighborhood was not great, prostitutes and vagrants nearby. Overall, not worth the price.

I am guessing they awarded themselves 3 stars. This place is very dated and not in a quaint or charming way. The good the AC worked well and the balcony was nice. Some of the staff were ok Day better than night.. the room is small but that is understandable. The bed is really small. even sleeping diagonally my feet hung over the edge. The toilet is about 28 inches from the floor. I am 6'5 and my toes touched the floor. Anyone shorter will have to dangle their legs. Furnishings and decor are deteriorating and need some tlc. The location is not bed. There are some prosttutes in the neighborhood but it felt safe. The TV was a joke. i would not care as I did not go to Paris to watch TV but they made such a big deal about it at check in. You could do better with your budget elsewhere..

We arrived early but were able to leave our bags. The rooms are small but the bathrooms are large! We had a great little room with a balcony facing the courtyard. There was some construction around the front but nothing the hotel can control. It's central to 2 different metro lines and also around a TON of fantastic places to eat.

This hotel is in urgent need of improvements. The price whilst not too high still is not justifiable for the condition of the rooms. Location is OK. Elevator is so tiny that 2 people would touch each other. Also, bathrooms have mould. Would not stay there again.

this hotel is not in a good location unless you don't mind walking or taking the metro
it's a 2 minute walk from the metro ,if you want to walk to the main attractions like the tower, then this will take you around one hour .
the good thing about the location is it's near alot of bars and restaurants that are alot cheaper than the ones in the main tourist areas. we had some lovely meals in restaurants 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel .
the hotel staff are all very friendly and their English is very good . I don't expect anyone in foreign countries to speak English but it's always a bonus and makes things easier .
there is nowhere to store bags safely, you have to leave your bags in the small breakfast area .
the room we had was small but we had everything we needed . it was clean but the dated decor made it look worse than it actually is .
there's a hairdryer and fridge in the room with all drinks charged at €3.
the bed was comfy and the shower was nice. we got free toiletries (shower gel)and plenty of tea and coffee for free.
the air con didn't work.
I wouldn't stay again because for the price we paid even though it was cheap ,we could have got the same sort of place but closer to the tower but this is a personal preference .
