This is not a five stars but if you are looking for a good value hotel in the center of Paris and near the grands boulevards, it is a good deal. Staff at reception are very helpful and kind and rooms are ok

Budget hotel in a good location. Staff is very friendly - Aurelle and Amid went out of their way to help us during our stay - and the room was very clean. I'd recommend paying the extra few Euro to get a toilet in the room - but don't be surprised that everything is very small, compact and basic. Hey - you didn't come to Paris to stay in bed all day, anyway, did you? We also had access to a refrigerator and tea kettle, which was nice.

Room tip: Rooms have sinks and showers, but shared toilet. You can pay a bit more for a private toilet.

It is exactly what it says it is. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for three nights. We had a double bed with a shower and sink. The toilet was shared but it was close to the room. It was always clean and there was always toilet roll. The shower was small but it had everything we needed. The room it self was actually bigger than we thought it was going to be. It was enough to have the double bed some walking space and a desk. The bed was clean, spotless and changed everyday.
The only small problem was how noisy it was outside and this was all night. We was fine with this but it was very noisy. The location is busy and around a lot of it is expected, with a busy location comes noise. It was not noisy at all with the window shut but where it was warm we did need the windows open.
The staff were all super friendly, they welcomed us and we paid city tax when we got there, 6 euros for three nights.
We did decide to have breakfast two of the mornings and we paid after eating. It was cheap compared to going out for breakfast, containing a bread roll with butter and soft cheese, a croissant with jams, a yoghurt, juice and coffee.
For the price and the location it is definitely worth it. It is nothing fancy but it had everything we needed and the staff were friendly.
I would definitely recommend and go back.

The staff was friendly and the hotel is near the Grand boulevards which I liked. The room I had was very dated and very ordinary. There was also a bad smell in the room specially in the shower as soon as water went on the curtains (The shower curtains need to be checked and clean or changed asap)
I suppose the other rooms were ok and my shower curtains were a one off.
The fact that the toilets were outside the room and to be shared was not a problem as they were close and there is only 4 rooms per floors so they were always available, very clean and plenty of space with lavabo and clean towel.

the location of the hotel covers the dirty and uncomfortable rooms and the bad breakfast. Of course it is cheap if you compare the others in Paris. The best thing is it is very closed to the city heart like Notre dame cathedral and opera building. And also it is on the avenue where the Turkish folk is living so that you can find helal food anytime you want . The reception knows a little bit English .
