The owners are extremely nice people and were very flexible in meeting all our needs. The apartment is big for Parisian standards. The kitchen is modern with a fancy stove, dishwasher, microwave and a big fridge. Had everything you need to cook your own meal but we didn't. There is a grocery store close by. The toilet is separate from the restroom which allows a peaceful shower. Unlike other European showers where there is standing room only with no room for a duckie, this one actually can fit 2 adults. Restroom had enough towels, soaps and shampoo. The fridge was stocked with couple of big water bottles, coke, orange juice. Basket of pastries, bread, coffee and a wine bottle were most appreciated. Kitchen had plenty of plates and glasses. A washer/dryer combo was enough for light loads. The apartment is in the ground/first floor and extremely quiet. The apartment is in between the Duroc metro and Sevres-Lecourbe metro stops, 3-5 min walk to both. You can see the Eiffel tower once you walk 30 seconds to the next street. However its a 40 min slow walk to the Eiffel. Recommend taking the metro from Sevres instead. Across the Duroc metro there is a Eric Kayser bakery and a nice chocolate shop. Most shops close around 7:30pm. Can't speak for restaurants around here as we mostly ate elsewhere. The location is very safe and in a quiet, posh neighborhood. With easy access to Metro we were able to get to all attractions quite easily. Taxi from CDG airport cost around 120 euro and are a big rip off. There is a shuttle from the metro which is much cheaper. We took the Air France shuttle from the Gare Montparnasse train station(one stop from Duroc). We had an early train to Lourdes and the owner in fact dropped us at the train station around 5:30 am. Can't thank them enough for that.
