Spent a couple of nights in Paris and chose to stay here because of its proximity to Gare Du Nord as we we travelling in via Eurostar and out via the Thalys. It did not disappoint in this regard just being a few steps from the station and very accessible.

The hotel itself looks small but very modern, we didn't utilise many of the facilities but was impressed by the room.

We booked a deluxe room which came with a terrace. The room was a good size for Paris and the terrace was a pleasant addition (although it was very cold to take advantage of it too much)

The bathroom wasn't spacious but was a good enough size with a walk in shower.

My only minor complaint was that the room took a while to warm up.

I also left my travelcard in the room and they very helpfully sent it on for me, so a big thanks for that too.

Be warned the area around the station looks a bit rough, but we felt very safe and is very handy to walk down La Fayette towards the centre or just jump on the metro

but other than that the hotel was excellent value and comes recommended

Room Tip: Deluxe with terrace was excellent value

if you staying in Paris for a few nights this is a very convenient located hotel. If you coming from CDG you jump off in Gare du Nord, exit Rue de Dunkerque, take left out of the station and you will se the hotel sign about 2 minutes away.

Like most Paris hotels, the room was quite small but manageable. The room was clean and the bed large and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and well equipped with a good shower. Unusually for Paris, there was a mini fridge and tea & coffee making facilities in the room. There were also plenty of accessible power points for chargers.

We found the room quite hot during the night and our window lock was broken so we couldn't open the window. Apart from that, we had no complaints and thought the hotel was good value for money.

The location is very good for both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The surrounding area does feel seedy due to the sex shops nearby, but if you walk further down rue Lafayette towards Poissonnerie then turn left, you will find a great little area with lots of decent looking restaurants, cafes and brasseries.

Clean, modern, stylish. Great location within steps of Gare du Nord – a neighborhood that is busy and active, with a couple of sex shops nearby – not really a problem and rather discreet, but if I were a woman traveling alone, I’d like to know. That said, the hotel has security in that the front desk is always staffed and elevators are key controlled.
Smallish room, very well appointed and perfectly suited. Flooring is engineered wood (translate to mean no dirty/stained/un-vacuumed carpet!) Pictures on the web are accurate.
Bath is sleek and modern. No tub, if that’s important to you. Shower with a huge rainfall showerhead and a hand wand with adjustable settings. And a porthole window! Toiletry amenities and hairdryer.
Room amenities include coffee/tea making supplies, in-room safe, mini-frig, free internet access.
Had a room on the 5th floor, facing the street. Other than the occasional siren, we had no street noise. On one of our two nights here, we did have some overly loud conversation from the neighboring room.
Hotel staff was wonderful – warm, welcoming, informative, and truly sincere in their desire to help make our stay enjoyable.
Breakfast offered included hot and cold choices, fresh fruit and, of course, croissants! Yummmmm!
Highly recommend.

having been stranded in Paris over the weekend and instructed by Eurostar to "go find a hotel" - was very very lucky to stumble across HorHotel - which despite its name and its location in the slightly less than salubrious Gare du Nord area, turned out to be a really good find. polite and helpful staff, very clean modern room. A bit on the small side but with all the things you need and an excellent shower, reasonably well insulated (which can't be said for all the hotels round Gare du Nord (this is the third time I've been stranded in Paris by Eurostar).

Hotel is across the road from a pharmacy and round the corner from a Carrefour (both essential when having an unexpected overnighter in Paris).
