As a Diamond Level Hyatt Gold Passport Member for almost 20 years, I can say that the Park Hyatt Vendome is the top all Hyatt Properties in the Customer Service category. It would be impossible to single out one member of the staff who went the extra mile to provide near perfect customer service as the entire staff, from the doorman to the concierge, to the restaurant hostesses, to the manager (Melanie) all seemed to take great pride in making sure that guests had the best stay possible. Every single member of the staff was genuinely friendly and delivered service with a smile. Our waiter in the breakfast restaurant remembered the type of coffee I had ordered from the day before as well as the juices ordered by my wife and kids and addressed my wife and I by name. Having had the chance to stay in many very nice hotels and resorts over the years, I can't remember a single prior occasion where a member of the waitstaff remembered my name and order from the previous day. Attention to detail is of obvious importance to the entire staff and each carries out their responsibilities with a great deal of efficiency, accuracy, and with a truly friendly attitude. There was one slight problem towards the end of our stay which was handled very gracefully and efficiently by Melanie, the manager.

The concierge staff, in my opinion, is the best of any hotel (Ritz/Four Seasons/Hyatt/Westin) that I have ever come across. All of their restaurant recommendations, from the very nice to very casual were absolutely perfect, and they were able to secure spots for us on very short notice. They booked train travel for us, got tickets for museums, and gave us little insider tips to avoid some of the long lines at the major sights.

The rooms are modern but very comfortable. The bathroom shower/tub combo was awesome, perhaps the best design of any bathroom in the Hyatt system. The beds are almost too comfortable and there is an oversized plasma flat screen in the room. Room size is above average for European hotels and the location on the Right Bank near the Palace Vendome was quite central to many sights like the Louvre and Arc de Triumphe. The Spa is outstanding but small and the workout facility, while small, has top of the line equipment. The Spa staff are, like everyone else at the Hotel, exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurants is expensive but absolutely fresh and perfectly prepared. On short notice, the chef prepared take away breakfasts for us to take on the train to Normandy. I know that perfection has a price, but I will tell you that once you stay at the Park Hyatt Vendome, you will not stay anywhere else in Paris.

This is a very elegant hotel. Everything about it is stylish and classy--from the killer location to the acres of cream marble in the lobby, to the over the top breakfast buffet, to the polite and friendly staff. I did not know that a Hyatt could be in this league.
We were upgraded to a deluxe room from a standard. Our room was large with room for a king bed and lots of extra space. There was a small entrance way with a little bar for the fridge and espresso maker, plus some nice china for your espresso. The bedding and pillows were top quality with nice chocolates left for us. The internet was complementary and the fastest of our trip (they must have a new system as the older reviews complained about the speed). My only complaint was the temperature control. I had it at 18 degrees, the coldest it would go, and the room was a bit warm. But it was not a big issue, plus it was no less air conditioned than most of the buildings in Europe, just less cool for my over-air conditioned American taste. There was a small stain on the rug too, but not a big deal, just unexpected as everything else was so perfect.
The bathroom was really outstanding--large and covered in creamy marble. Separate tub and shower with a sink in it. (Not sure why, but it looked great!) Super counter space and a big closet area. Loads of great towels.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The concierge was courteous to all of the guests, whether they were chic business people or tourists in tennis shoes. The guests varied greatly.
We were told the hotel would include the breakfast with our stay. It was really over the top with pastries, breads, fruit etc. We ordered the scrambled eggs too--way to much for one person, but they were heavenly.
The location is super close to lots of shopping, plus museums and parks. It was a bustling area but not overcrowded or noisy.
This is an expensive, but excellent choice for a splurge. We were only there one night, but wished we could have stayed more.

Room Tip: Our room looked out over the courtyard. As it was on a lower floor, in the early evening you could hear some noise from the bar below if you had the window open, but a night it was very quiet. An upper floor room would be quieter.

This hotel does not disappoint. I was initially hesitant to stay here as it is in a very fancy neighborhood (Cartier is just a few doors down) and worried that we would feel out of place. But from the minute we arrived, everyone was so helpful and polite. The room (I believe we were in a junior suite) was very spacious, with an equally huge bathroom. The rooms were made up twice a day and the housekeeping kept everything spotless. The location of the hotel is great (5 minute walk to the Opera and metro station). A buffet breakfast was included every day of our stay, and this consisted of quiche, cereal, pastries, oatmeal, fruit, and meats (salmon, turkey, etc), and various juices. I think my daily cappucino was included as well. You did have to pay extra (about 6 euros) if you wanted an omelette. Overall, this is a great hotel and customer service is top notch. I would highly recommend this place!

I traveled with my daughter to Paris for a graduation celebration choosing the Park Hyatt Vendome based on the excellent reviews and location. We were not disappointed. From the moment we checked in, we were treated like royalty. Since we had an early morning flight arriving at 8 AM, our room was not ready, however David, after check-in, showed us to the spa where we could freshen up, change, and even shower. All of the amenities were provided so that even if we needed a toothbrush or other toiletries, they were at our immediate disposal. Every morning, David greeted us by name and wished us a pleasant day. We also received a voucher for free WiFi and breakfast buffet as Hyatt rewards members.

The room was great. Comfortable, quiet and spacious for a Parisian Hotel. The chocolate truffles were a great touch and delicious. Our room also had a nice work station, coffee and tea station and an immaculate bathroom with double sinks, separate toilet area and a rain shower. The tea station did not work in the morning after breakfast, so we told the front desk. That evening, there was a small package with hand written apology note and a bottle of interior spray wishing us a pleasant evening.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The fruits, pastries, salmon, fresh breads and cheese were delectable. Make sure and try the fresh squeezed juices. Our favorite was the mango. We also had the eggs benedict with salmon served with truffles. If you like yogurt, they are served in small glass jars which are so cute and yummy.

The spa was great to go to and relax after a full day of walking, shopping and museums in Paris. There is a nice Jacuzzi and steam showers with tea, Evian and fresh fruits available. There is also a full gym that is available 24 hours.

Location is the best. The hotel is convenient to everything. You are walking distance from museums, shopping, parks and the metro.

Every staff member from check-in to check-out, dining staff, spa, concierge and even house keeping really made this a great vacation and I would highly recommend this hotel for an amazing stay.
