Nice location, very close to Arc de Triomphe and Palais de Congres. Very nice people, very kind and helpful, very good breakfast but... rooms are very small and on two floors! Very hard to live there, window is with small curtains...

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your comment especially those on our staff.

All the rooms of our hotel are different (steps or not, bathroom closed or open, bath or shower etc).
When the client does not specify any information in his booking, we hope that the room we choose will match with his tastes. If not, on his arrival and if he tells us we propose him another one.

We hope to see you again so you can discover them during your next stay in Paris

Have a nice day

Very good location, close to the metro and RER station, in a nice area (not far away from "arc de triomphe"). Small room but practical, clean and reception 24/24. A big factor is the reasonnable price, which is not always the case in Paris.

On a quiet street with two Metro stations within walking distance, is Hotel Etoile Pereire. Address:146 Boulevard Pereire. Metro Line 1 Porte Maillot and Line 3 Pereire, RER:C. Check in time is 2pm and check out is at noon.
A three star, comfortable and clean place where one can clearly notice that a lot of attention is given to the decor of each room.
With no recommendation, I was fortunate to find it surfing on the internet.
The Hotel was purchased by an interior architect in 1985. The hotel is her palette, each time she comes across an interesting artifact she creates the decor of the room around it. The result is at each of the 26 rooms have different colour schemes, layouts and decor. Each year two rooms are renovated, so though small, there is nothing musty or old about the rooms.
Wherever possible, the hotel has large glass ventilators over narrow corridors to let in a lot of sunshine. The corridors have unusual paintings and art work so the walk in interesting.
The categories of room, superior, classic and deluxe. The deluxe room on the top most floor has all the quiet one can ask for. Done up in black and red the interesting bit is that the tub and basin are on the mezzanine floor. The room close to the reception on the ground floor is wheelchair-friendly with required amenities in place. Also on the ground floor lobby is a storage facility which proved to be very convenient. Next to it is a small room with a computer for the use of guests. Wifi is free.
Breakfast is subsidized, so for ten euros one gets a purely artisanal meal as the bread, cheese, juices are all handmade products. The bread comes fresh from a nearby bakery, Fresh juice and jams are got in every 6 months from a producer who has orchards in the South of France. The fruits are seasonal and the jams have no preserves, only sugar and fruit.
As tourists we found the hotel conveniently located, clean, with tea and coffee facilities, a safe, TV and all the other basic amenities. We requested for a bathroom with a shower and were given one. I must mention that the rooms are small, sound carries and there is no air conditioning, but then in all fairness the hotel is 3 star and they didn’t promise any of these.
I cannot write a review without special mention of the very friendly and courteous receptionists, Pascal, Daria and Greg. On arrival we were given maps and a brief description of the area. Pascal was very kind and went out of her way to make bookings, get reservations to shows, guide us on how to get to any location and to tell us where we would get the best rate if we wanted to change currency. She even made an extra effort and managed to get us last-minute tickets for a tour to Giverny.
The stay in Etoile Pereire was a quaint home-away-from-home.

Room Tip: choose a room away from the lift, higher floors preferable

Lovely small hotel in brilliant location. Each room has unique and very attractive furnishings and decor.Staff could not have been more helpful. It is worth asking for a superior room as opposed to a standard room.. Breakfast is adequate but lacking in imagination.

Room Tip: Anything other than the ground floor would be fine

Thank you for your comments.
The staff does his best to make pleasant the customer journey ; they will be happy to read your comment.
Concerning rooms categories it goes "crescendo" : superior and deluxe are effectively more spacious than a standard double room .
The breakfast is an artisanal continental buffet but .......we accet any new ideas!

We stayed in this arrondissement years ago but that hotel was booked, so we tried the Hotel Etoile Pereire, which was just about a block away. SO close to Metro and the RER-C you practically fall into the station. Hotel was very nice, clean, moderately priced. We went in a heat wave in September and they did not have A/C -- but they accommodated us and our friends with portable fans for each room. We did not try the breakfast there so can't comment on that. But I was very impressed with the high-end Mariage Freres teas stocked in the room. There was a small fridge, too, but we didn't use it (unfortunately, it was also putting out heat). Still, we were comfortable in the evening with the shutters open and the curtains mostly closed. The room was small, which I'm used to in Europe -- our philosophy is that you're there to sightsee, not to stay in your room. So we look for cleanliness -- top marks for the hotel here, in housekeeping and the bathroom -- quiet, close to transportation and good price. The Etoile Pereire scores high on all counts. And the staff was friendly (and spoke good English, though I enjoyed 'practicing' my French with them too). Can't ask for more than that! We would stay here again.
