If you get a good deal under $110 Euros its worth it -- rooms are small but nicely appointed and it is quiet -- in a great location but on a weird street -- sometimes the Uber and Cab drivers cannot get to the hotel -- area is great overall but the street this hotel is on is just plain dead and kind of scary if walking alone -- staff is friendly and helpful.

Very quaint well kept hotel, in a classic old french building. Within ten minute walking distance to 2 metro stations which helps. Also near a lot of cafés and restaurants. Free breakfast is plenty to fill up on for us non europeans.

This hotel is located in a calm area, but it doesn't have many exciting things happening close to it. The tv wasn't working and the wifi was pretty bad. The elevator also wasn't working so I had to use the stairs. The breakfast wasn't worth it and it didn't have many choices. Plus, you had to pay extra for it. The confort in the room was just okay and the heater wasn't good. Can't imagine staying in this hotel during winter with no heater. The people from reception seemed moody. Sometimes they were pretty nice, but other times they barely look in your face. For the same price you can stay in a better place. I wouldn't come back to this hotel and wouldn't recommend to anyone that I know.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for taking time to review our hotel about your recent stay with us.
We are so sorry that you had to go through a series of unfortunate events.
I deeply regret you felt little considered by our Reception team. I forwarded your remark to them and remind them of the rules and appropriate behavior for a perfect and attentive service to our hosts.
Thank you for bringing the wifi functionnal defect to our attention and be sure we will take appropriate measures with our internet provider as this is very important to us to ensure an excellent customer service.
I must admit I am a bit surprised by your comment about the elevator as we did not face any breakdown. It might be occupied by other guests or by one of our chambermaid.
Regarding the TV, I feel a little surprised too because we monitor them regularly and we do not have other complaints from guests about this. Please do not hesitate to ask the front desk for help, they would have been glad to adjust TV and heating system in your room.
We strive to serve a worthy breakfast with fresh products and I regret you did not appreciate it. Our guests generally appreciate our freshly squeezed orange juice as well as our selection of break, viennoiseries, hot drinks, cereals, fresh fruits, cold meats, cheeses and eggs.
You booked a room only offer but we also have breakfast included offers to meet different exceptations. Plus, as mentionned on our TripAdvisor page, we offer a special deal with complimentary breakfast by booking direct with us.
If you agree to renew your trust, we would be happy to welcome you again and offer you buffet breakfast.
Sincerely,
Bernard Garnier
Director of the Hotel du Theatre

If you are on a budget this is a very good option. The rooms are small (like all Parisian hotels) and clean with renovated bathrooms. The staff was by and large friendly and helpful. All in all, a solid home base if you are planning to be out all day

Dear guest ,

Thank you for taking time to review our hotel about your recent stay with us and for your compliments about the staff.
As you mentioned in your comment, rooms in Parisian hotels are not as big as in other destinations. We worked with an interior designer to use every inch of the rooms and give them a roomy and comfortable feel. We are glad to hear that you enjoy our renovated bathrooms.

We hope to see you soon in our beautiful capital.

Sincerely,
Bernard Garnier
