Short but very good. The earlier years are amazing in quality of fabrics plus craftsmanship! Very good settings and recreations. For people who like to know about fashion but also about history.

This museum is near the Louvre, and definitely not to be overlooked! I love fashion exhibitions and the Musee des Arts Decoratifs always has interesting, impressive collections on show!

This time we only went for the Fashion forward, and it was great. The historical part is very interesting, especially sobering to see how women's clothing have changed over the centuries. The modern part is more purely entertaining, and some of the costumes are hilarious.

The best way to avoid a frightening queue on Rue de Rivoli is to buy your tickets online in advance (At the moment you can not but tickets for the same day).
This museum is undoubtedly one of the 'must do' in Paris, especially now during temporary Barbie, 3 centuries of fashion and wallpapers exhibitions.

As you would expect, hundreds of the dolls on display - very well done. There is an area of all the hundreds of professions. for which Barbie was dressed. Also, much about the designers who crafted outfits for her (Oscar de la Renta was the first). Barbie as Joan of Arc, Queen Elizabeth I, Marie Antoinette etc. Also, the story of all the business decisions was fascinating - a mature figure for the doll, marketing aspects including sponsorship of the Mickey Mouse Club, production in Japan. Social changes of the larger world reflected over the last 55 years.
