Platine Hotel is a pleasant themed small hotel within walking distance of the main attractions of Paris (if you are ok walking 1 mile+, which we were)
My wife and I visited for a romantic weekend away and got exactly that.
We opted for a suite: The room was small and nicely presented but I would be pushed to describe this room as a suite. I had seen reviews stating the rooms were small so it was sort of expected.
As we had made plans to eat at the Eiffel tower and Moulin Rouge so opted for the Bed and Breakfast option. The food was good and the restraurant nicely themed as a movie set style diner which complemented the rest of the theming in the hotel.
Staff were polite and very helpful. Prior to the trip I had been a little worried about my limited spoken French but this was not an issue as the staff were more than capable of communicating in English.
We took in all the usual sights by a mixture of tours and general walking.
We booked and would recommend both a meal in the Eiffel tower restaurant, and a show/meal at Moulin Rouge but should note that both were very expensiveMore
