Loved this hotel and it's funky styling, we had a superior room and balcony, room was clean, breakfast was great and we had lots of choice. Rome metro was only a short walk away. On arrival the staff were very helpful providing us with a map and pointing out areas of interest as we had not visited Paris before. The afternoon drinks were a nice touch.

Rooms are small but very functional and clean. Location if very easy to reach, only a few blocks from the metro. Breakfast was very nice, a little crowded, but overall for the price, a reasonable place to stay without blowing the budget.

I did like the hotel, with the breakfast included it was great. The location very convenient. The Rome metro station is within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The staff always friendly and eager to help you if you had a question. The city itself is very easy to get around thanks to the subway maps. You should definitely stay in this hotel if you want prime location a train away or walking distance away from where you want to go.

Room tip: If you can get the top floors you can see the Eiffel tower from your balcony.

Location is St Lazare or Rome Metro and NOT at the Opera -which is a good 20 minute walk to the Opera.
Rooms are really tiny but they provided a kettle and a fridge - when asked also more towels.
Breakfast was horrible - the coffee gave me a migraine and no fruit on the 3 out of 5 days and when available 2 rotting bananas and 4 really sour oranges - not what you would expect when nectarines, peaches, grapes, plums are all in season and readily available. The pastries were really dire and not what you would expect in Paris.

Room tip: top floors facing courtyards is quiet

I spent a week at the Hotel Astoria Opera. The hotel is adorable. My room looked exactly like the one featured in the picture. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for a solo traveller (might be a bit small for 2 people) and the hotel is a 20-30 minute commute to all major attractions including the Louvre.
