I stayed in two connecting rooms with wife and kids in June. The location is great next to the Opera House and just a block or two away from some great Paris shopping.
The hotel is beautiful and if you like historic properties this is your place. We stayed in an executive room with Club Lounge access. The rooms were nice but the carpet could be changed out. It really had a very "Paris vibe" to the rooms and the staff was very accommodating. A lot of the rooms had small balconies to step out onto which was a nice little Paris thing to do.
The Club Lounge was a great place to eat breakfast and lunch and enjoy as much champagne as you wanted! The staff in the lounge was super nice and most helpful and was a nice place to start or end your day. The lounge isn't cheap but if you take advantage of all it offers it really is a good value--especially when traveling with kids.
The metro can be heard until about midnight in some of the rooms in the hotel so you might want to ask for a quiet room if you are a light sleeper.
All in all a very nice Paris hotel!More
