I love champagne. I knew before I returned to Paris that I wanted to tour Champagne and I'm not generally a fan of taking tours. This was definitely worth it. Not only do you learn all about the champagne making process but you get to drink the different kinds of champagne at the various "houses" of champagne that you tour.
In between the two places we stopped at we had a very nice lunch with fabulous wine. I'm not a fan of American Chardonnay but the French Chardonnay was fantastic. The food was good too. Our tour guide was great - very personable and knowledgeable.
It was a small tour bus - 6 people - which was much more enjoyable than a large group so it was more intimate and not overwhelming. We also were able to purchase all of the champagne that we tasted. Loved it.
