We stayed here two nights for a brief stop off. We chose the site due to location and it didn't disappoint, we have young family but it was close enough to the centre of Paris for us all to cycle in and out for a day trip.
Positives, the facilities are smart and new, there are plenty of showers, toilets etc, we found them to be clean and quiet.
The playground is great, and there is a cafe, bar and take away van at the entrance. All of which like the shop are pricey but nice. Though the site is really big it felt friendly with lots of families and wasn't noisy.
Downside: the roadside where our pitch was, was very noisy at night. I can't say whether you could hear the road from the river side, past reviews seem to say not. This may have been a problem for more than 2 nights.
When we arrived our pitch already had people in it, so we were directed to 6 empty pitches in a row to find another one. These weren't very well defined and other people also confused. Thus we ended up with half a pitch, the rest taken by others that had a pitch and a half. Didn't mind for two nights would have for more. Also we ended up roadside!!
Generally though this is a good site, def would recommend for a easy access to Paris stop off site.

Ok it was not very comfortable, or luxury but if you are visiting Paris with 5-6 people then this is a very affordable way of staying a night in Paris. We had a car, spent all day in Paris, came to hotel around 23:30, slept directly and checked out to spend a second day in Paris. For this short stay with 5 people it was great, cost us about 25 euros/person. For this price what you get in the centre paris would be significantly worst. We had a small cottage with 2 rooms a little kitchen space with a table, nice veranda and a very little shower. I wouldn't stay there more than 2 nights tops but for a short visit it is good value.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your experience in our campsite.
Our Cottages have a capacity of 6 persons for the same price as a standard hotel in the Center of Paris. We are also able to welcome you for a longer stay as we have a laudry, a supermarket and a restaurant on site.
We are happy that you enjoyed our place and hope to see you soon again.
Best regards
The campsite manager of Camping de Paris

Gripes first; the hook-up and taps are shared so you will need a 20m hook-up cable. Also, if you're using your own tent, you'll need some heavy-duty pegs as the pitches are rock hard. The road along side the camp-site is rather noisy so if you have kids or are light sleepers then it's worth paying 45 Euro to reserve a pitch by the river. There were lots of mosquitoes but none of us were bitten. Worth bringing a can of Raid to clear out the tent a quarter hour before bedtime.
All the rest was positive, spotless facilities, there's an on-site pizza van and shop which gets fresh bread, croissants, etc every morning. The shuttle bus to the nearest Metro is pretty efficient and enabled us to enjoy Paris proper. The Bois de Bolougne has its own places of interest too; the Jardin d'Acclimation is excellent for kids. 5 days in Paris for less than £50 a night for a family of four - marvellous.

Arrived at the camp 3 days ago, quite impressed with the area it is located, not being too hard to access all the main attractions in Paris. The camp itself is average, they have a bar&restaurant, play area for children and a shop which is overly priced. But on a whole, when I arrived, was impressed with the camp. Came to use the toilets, and that's when it all went down hill, I don't know how this has been given a 4 star rating, with the hygiene of the toilets, it's beyond me. Pubic hairs on the toilets, faeces floating in the toilets, urine on the floors of the toilets and the bins are overflowing, the smell in the toilets is absolutely disgusting, went to the reception for the woman to give me a response of 'they are cleaned 3 times a day' which by the photographic evidence I've provided begs to differ... I have not seen a cleaner in those toilets the whole time I have been here, every visit I have made to the toilets it has been in the same state, never clean, I have been trying to hold it in as the toilets are in that much of a state. For the price we have payed for our stay, we expect the toilets to be clean, not even spotless, just clean. Just a heads up for anyone who is thinking of staying here, IT IS NOT VERY HYGIENE FRIENDLY!!!!

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to give you opinion about our campsite.
I am really surprised to read your comment about the sanitary. We do clean them at least 3 times per day : in the early morning, before noon, in the end of the afternoon and in the evening when necessary.
People are generally satisfied with the sanitary blocks. And whenever we hear a remark or complaint we send someone there.
I hope you keep a good memory of your stay in Paris.
Best regards

we stayed here for our cycle trip so it catered for our group of 10. its what you would expect for a cabin type of lodging with built in showers so a bonus. there is a big park nearby to explore and cycle around. Paris is a quick cycle trip away too. so its at a good location.
