We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights.

The service from beginning to end was fantastic. We were given lots of great advice on parking and restaurants, and they even did our laundry free of charge!

The breakfast was a simple but tasty continental buffet.

We parked our car in a nearby underground secure car-park for 3 days at 45 EUR. This was about 10-15 minutes walk to the hotel.
The hotel is near the metro so we used that rather then the car.

We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well air conditioned. The breakfasts were delicious - tasty pastries, hams, cheeses, boiled eggs, juices, good coffee, etc. We asked for a quieter room and were placed in a room not on the street and was in fact very quiet for the 4 days and nights we stayed there. The room at first felt small, but once we settled in the size really wasn't an issue. The shower is small, but has amazing water pressure - perfect relaxation at the end of a long day of sight seeing. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The front desk staff were also fluent in English.

The location is very convenient to a major metro station, but away from the highly touristy areas. It is also near a couple of different groceries and pharmacies.

My only complaint is that they do not have an early check in option. After a long red-eye flight from the US, we could've really used the earlier check in, even if just an hour. But that's a small complaint. If this is your price range, I think this is the BEST hotel you'll get in Paris!

Our stay has been just over a week, and as crazy as the metro, the RER, and the attractions have been, the GHF has been a quiet, safe and very comfortable refuge to return to at the end of the day.
The staff have been chatty, helpful, and very friendly. The rooms are clean, breakfast was great (the lady working in the breakfast room was fantastic), I can't say more than to highly recommend this hotel!

We'd stay here again because...
-literally right across the street from the metro, which will take you almost anywhere in Paris
-3 minute walk from Nation, the metro that will take you everywhere...including the airport (25 minutes) and Versailles
-friendly, English-speaking staff (who will advise you on which metro to take & where to eat, etc.)
-perfect-sized room w/ free wi-fi, tv, fridge, & air conditioning
-clean
-a short walk from the grocery store

By the time we got to Paris, I was really sick with a cold/congestion/overall feeling pretty crappy. I knew that I would not be able to explain this at the pharmacy b/c I don't speak any French. The man working at reception was very kind and wrote down in French what I would need to tell the pharmacist about my symptoms. I feel like we got treated really well at this hotel and that they know exactly what to do to make you feel like an important guest.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to be sure they're staying somewhere nice and not in a tourist-trap area.

Just returned from exhausting weekend in Paris, the hotel is very clean, very friendly, and ideally situated for tube stations, easy to use and 3.40 euro anywhere for 2 people, beer and drinks/coffee in paris is very very expensive, if you want a tip use Macdonalds, nice coffee and cheap. Head receptionist was very friendly and helpful, would stay there again. Another tip, don't sign anything that looks like a petition as they ask for money afterwards, and don't accept any "free" newspapers as again they ask for money all are cons. Train from airport is the cheapest the RER to Gard de Lyon 18 Euros for two people very easy to use takes approx 1 hours with change. Book Eiffel Tower and Louvre on line to avoid huge queue's other tip is go round th back of the louvre and go in through the Carousel de Louvre, you go straight into the bottom by the ticket machines no waiting outside in long queue.

Room Tip: try and get room at back away from road noise.
