I am not a fan of cruising cementerys but this one Is one of the most important in Europe. So many important people from Chopin to Jim Morisson. Check the map.

The cemetery is big and there are lots of paths but it´s relatively easy to find what you´re looking for with a map. Wear good shoes! I visited Oscar Wilde´s and Jim Morrisons´s graves but there are lots of other famous people buried there. The old graves are very pretty and so are the trees and other greenery.

if you want to see something special, be sure to have a map and go straight there, because its quite big and easy to get lost. But it's a nice walk, in spring or summer.

This cemetary is huge so make sure you take a lot of time if you want to see it all. I haven't seen such a place before..so we walk through it (about 2 hours) and we still didn't have enough.

An amazing adventure awaits you when you enter Pere-lachaise! Oscar Wilds grave is an crazy as you’d expect it to be. Jim Morrison’s grave is somewhat normal. Don’t get caught in this place after the bell goes off as you may end up staying after they lock the doors!
