If you are looking for a good place to base yourself as you explore Paris at a reasonable price (apparently reasonable price in Paris is quite a find lol) then this is the place. The room was very nicely decorated and very clean, a little on the small side but if you are on a sight-seeing mission what more do you need? The staff are all courteous and friendly and a special thanks to the guy who told us where to get cheap wine nearby!!

the location itself was great for the price paid a 1 min walk to the nearest metro station where you can get anywhere in Paris VERY quickly. Loads of places nearby to eat, drink etc some REALLY expensive others just expensive and a couple of places where you can obtain reasonably priced booze and food to take back to the hotel.

The factors which prevented me from giving an excellent rating were the fact that the heater in our room was not working and although promised that it would be replaced on the first might by the time we left (two nights later!!) it still had not been. The hotel was not SO cold that this was a huge problem but it would of been nice to control the heat in our own room, it was very cold in the city and after a very tiring day exploring in the cold a bast of heat would of been lovely.
They are advertising as an international hotel and as such it would be good practice to pay for just one English language news channel on the TV something we have had before on budget city breaks.
Also and only a little, one on check in can you advise your customers of the tourist tax they will have to pay on check out, i had read it when i booked my trip months before but it had slipped my mind so i was very lucky i had enough euros to cover it. I realize it is my own fault for forgetting but a little reminder would of been nice.

Stayed here for 4"nights and so a summary.
Positives are the great location and the nearby area has great cake and bread shops. The bed comfy and towels changed each day. There was a kettle and TV in the room and shower powerful. Did not take breakfast as a little expensive. Staff friendly and able to leave bags during day of departure. Development points are that it is a little noisy at night as people talking shouting outside can be heard through the windows which had no sound proofing. The walls a little thin and the floor needs washing. In Paris though little time spent in room and so had a great time and free WiFi and nice and warm. Stayed on first floor.

I stayed here for 4 nights with a friend and I've come away honestly really happy with how much I paid for the room I had. It's great value for money. The rooms are kept very clean and are modern, as well as being fair sized. The hotel itself is only a short 5-10 minute walk away from the Place de la République metro line which takes you straight to places such as the Eiffel tower and Galeries Lafayette on one direct line, as well as further connecting lines to other well known and useful areas. The wifi was fairly decent the whole time I was there, and the bathroom was very modern and clean which was nice, however it was slightly on the smaller size of things, but considering the price I'm not going to complain.

Overall, I'd recommend this to a friend and any couples thinking of travelling to paris for a short stay/long weekend!

Room Tip: Good area, easily accessible, well priced

My Wife & I stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Paris. The location was great, 1 min walk to the metro, 10min walk to the Republique Square or a short metro journey ( 1 stop). There are some great restaurants just around the corner which seem to be popular with the locals. The Hotel itself was nice with friendly staff. Although it was on the small side (it is Paris after all) the en-suite bathroom is about the size of a wardrobe. The rooms were clean and nice with a comfortable bed. I would recommend staying here as a place to base yourself whilst seeing the sights of Paris and getting to know Parisian people.

Small, quite, clean and modern hotel, Goncourt metro station 2 minutes to go and bus station line no. 75 is so close.

Helpful and kind Receptionist .... room with TV, water boiler, tea, sugar and Nescafe .... private bath room but there is no refrigerator in my room

The republique palace is less than 10 minutes walk ... there is many restaurants such as KFC, McDonald's and Buffalo Grill

A market is near the hotel and many coffee shops around

Room Tip: Room 31 is small one with back yard view
