“If only history lessons had been like this at school!”
Reviewed 6 April 2012

My teenaged daughter and I really enjoyed the 'Paris along the Seine' tour. Karen's enthusiasm was contagious and the potted, humourous history of France really set the scene. It was an excellent way for us, new to Paris, to get our bearings and an idea of what we wanted to take a closer look at later, and Karen gave us lots of sightseeing tips. The pace was never hurried but I was surprised at how much distance we'd covered; it was really like going on a walk and having a chat with friends.

“Well worth the price”
Reviewed 6 April 2012

We took our Jewish history tour of the Marais yesterday and we got everything out of it that we expected.
Firstly, it's a small number of people so you don't feel like you are on a tour. Just a few friends walking around the city. We discovered a neighbourhood and it's history with our tour guide, Karen. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Jewish people in Paris. How they got here, how they lived, what they endured etc. It was very educational and interesting for myself and the teens that were on the tour.
We had a wonderful lunch at a very popular restaurant. Karen organized for us to get in, otherwise we would have had a very long wait. She managed to get us into a synagogue as well, even though everyone in this area is preparing for Passover. We ended our tour at the Holocaust museum.
All in all the experience was wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate when booking a tour with Karen again.

“Fantastic Paris tour!”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

This was not our first visit to Paris, however, each time shows us something new and exciting that we missed or just wanted to experience again.
I found Sight Seekers on Trip Advisor and the reviews were awesome so I really wanted to join the Seine tour. A great tour guide teaches you while you enjoy the beautiful sights and I figured (and was right) that this would be great! Hanna had such great energy and super great stories about France, its history and its more current state that it was just truly a "delight", as the title states. Please take this tour if you are coming to Paris for the first time or have been many times before! Loved Hanna and the experience!

“Great experience in every way”
Reviewed 3 April 2012

We took a Sight Seekers Delight Paris walking tour last week. Our tour guide, Hannah, is a history fan studying acting in Paris. English is her native language (as is true with all of their guides), and her acting did wonders keeping our group of 9 engaged and bouncing during the walk. Just enough facts and anecdotes were balanced by the fair "I am not sure" if she did not know the answer. Hannah was clearly fascinated with history, but also full of practical things we wanted to know about life in Paris today

Hannah was knowledgeable and approachable, fun yet serious and engaging. She was able to sense that we were tired and stopped for a wonderful and very reasonably priced lunch. She then allowed extra time for our kids to play on the trampolines at the Tuileries gardens, thus replenishing everyone's energy and excitement. She was one of the best guides we have had in our travels. I only regret not having enough time to book another tour with Sight Seeker's.

“Excellent way to see Paris”
Reviewed 3 April 2012

We are a family of 4 with 12 year old twin boys. We've been to Paris before, but this was the first visit for our boys. We booked 3 tours: 1) Montmartre tour with Hanna, 2) Seine tour with Karen and 3) Pere Lachaise tour with Karen. We enjoyed all 3 tours and would highly recommend this company: tours are funny and informative and an incredible value for your money. We wanted to set your expectations: if you are looking for a graduate level type lecture and want to get a more in-depth history and art view of Paris, this company is probably not for you. We had another tour with Paris Muse (Louvre): they will provide you with a guide with a Ph.D. in art history at a much higher price, but also much deeper knowledge. However, if you want an introduction to Paris, its history, its major sights, its customs, given by a guide with a great sense of humor and a love for the city, please don't hesitate to book with Karen. Our boys are still repeating Karen's jokes and Hanna's stories of many artists who called Paris their home. Thank you Hanna and Karen!
