This was a repeat visit to Le Chamarre to celebrate my birthday and it was a good choice.
The service is charming, professional and relaxed.
The quality and presentation of every dish was exquisite. And the cooking.... Imagine that you were the best cook you could be on a really good day then these are the kind of things you would make. Not over complicated, just excellent combinations of lovely ingredients.
The restaurant has a covered terrace, perfect for enjoying warm Paris evenings.
The foie gras starter was delicious as was the lobster and I understand that the speciality beef dish with mushrooms was extremely good.
Desserts were also delicious and mine came with a birthday sparkler.
A lovely place to go for a special occasion.
