On a few days in Paris,my travel companion took me here for lunch. He had been once and was raving about it. Lucky we arrived early and got a table as minutes after we arrived every table was taken. The menu is a bit meaty, steak is it's speciality, but don't let that turn you off if you don't eat red meet. We also enjoyed seafood and a creamy soup that is out of this world. One of the best soups I have had in my life. The squid was almost to beautiful to eat, but somehow we managed. The desert of cheese cake was creative and unexpected. Decadent and delicious. A destination spot in Paris.
Typical Parisian bistrot setting, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ordered the aged côte de bœuf with a side of fries. Fries serving was rather small but the meat was memorable! Went there on a Tuesday night and customers were queuing outside. Book in advance!
We had such a delicious dinner at Bien Eleve. The owners and the the entire team are very welcoming and lovely. The food is excellent and creative, the place itself small and cozy. Spot on! We will come back on our next trip.
I had dinner with family on a week day at Bien Élevé. We arrived at 8pm and were seated at our reserved table immediately upon arrival. While the place was busy (you need to book in advance as it is popular among locals and tourists alike) it wasn't noisy like some restaurants can get.
I found the choices on the menu (which is centered around meat) to be original. All produces come from high quality sources and you can tell.
I ordered the veal and my family shared some beef (you can choose from a variety of different meats that you can share with others if you want). Both were tasty and of high quality. The sides were also very good. Finally, the staff was attentive and professional at all times.
I would happily recommend this restaurant especially to meat lovers (if you're vegetarian, I am told that the chef will happily accommodate upon request).
