Both of us had a superb meal superb service and the food was excellent not too mention of course the well stocked wine list with the local champagne . We both left the restaurant feeling we had a experience to remember and we will go back there next time we visit the home of champagne .

Chef Patrick Michelon runs a Michelin starred restaurant with an eager eye on guest comfort, excellent service by knowledgeable and well expierienced staff, complimented by an impressive wine list to cater for all tastes. The food offers the experience expected from a Michelin restaurant.

The ambience is that of a classic French fine dining restaurant. It is split into several rooms of good sized tables with appropriate quality tableware. The menu is excellent, the choice being between having an hors d'oeuvre and main course with cheese and dessert or having an extra 'fish course' as well(79€ & 95€ respectively). My starter of a lobster terrine was so good it could of been served proudly in any restaurant in the country. The second course of turbot was also extremely good. My main of stuffed Bresse chicken was a bit of a disappointment. It came in the form of a rouleau slice and was a bit messy, with not enough actual chicken which itself was great. The normal superb cheese course at a venue like this was followed by an unusually disappointing dessert. Overall this place justified its Michelin one star rating. Though expensive, this is the centre of the champagne region. I would certainly return.

The restaurant is one of the rare ones in the fine dining category which is open on Sunday evening. The place has a classic style, which is reflected in the menu. We chose the 2 plates + cheeses + dessert formula. All well prepared, tasty, quality. Very good service.
Will come back when next time in Epernay. But will also try the restaurant's brasserie K7.

Went for both lunch and dinner on the same day.
Although the menu was the same for both lunch and dinner, there were still many opportunities to diversify the experience.

Tip: Please do say yes to the aperitif glass of champagne, it is excellent!
