We booked a lovely family room, decorated with Renoir and Monet prints for an overnight stay en route home from Spain, together with 2 kids and pet. I'm giving this place top marks for value for money, location, friendliness and, above all, character ! In times when the good folk of Sussex fearfully demand Brexit and seek solace, no doubt, in the sterile lodgings typical of the modern "inns" to be found on any UK ring-road roundabout, it was a delight to stay in a place dripping with French character and nostalgia... as surprising and refreshing as a glass of Ricard-on-the-rocks and the aroma of Gaulois. Other guests' remarks on the plumbing and creaky floorboards are fair game given the majesty of this old building. With the ancient alleys of Blois next door and delightful restaurants like the Petit Honfleur just 200 metres away, we soaked it all up with pleasure.

Very comfortable hotel room with a lovely breakfast option. Very conveniently located near many good bistros, restaurants, etc. The chateau is just up the street from the hotel and other attractions are close by as well.

We stayed at short notice so it was nice to fit us in. But if hotels aren't busy, usually there's a reason.
In this case it's the decor and the thin walls. Very very dated inside and when the next room toilet flushed I thought it was in our room.
Good points were, the reception staff are very helpful and friendly and we were allowed to put our motos in the garage, for a small fee.
All in for a twin room €85. Blois is very expensive tho, as I paid €13 for 2 pints of lager in an ordinary bar on the north bank I wouldn't go back as there was no A/C, which would have been unbearable during that last hot week in June.
I like Blois, but the prices are very inflated, much like Albi further south.

Dear Sir,
What a tittle ! Our main clients are women who choose our hotel for its central position, simplicity and safety. After your thanks at your departure, we are a bit surprised of this advise about your stay. Please check your bill , the price of the room is more like 70 € and then you add city tax and safe closed garage for two motobikes. Best regards.

The hotel is placed in the middle of the village next to the castle. It has a parking space at walking distance with payment between 9 and 18.30 but free for the rest of the day.
The hotel is an old bulding with different rooms. The windows are made by wood and there is not special closure syste. The room is adequated for the price. It has no temperature regulators in the room so you depend on the hotel decision about the possibility of having heat or not. You can ask for a heater and they lend it to you. In the time we were there were problems with the wifi net as there were some works on the street thar affected. The hotel is run by a very nice pair. They were very polite and help you with everything. The breakfast is offer in the hotel but we did not use it.
It is a good place to go if you are looking for a hote well located but keeping on mind that it is basic but very clean.

Wonderfully decorated rooms. I was under the impression I spent a night just inside the castle nearby. The main attraction in Blois, the superb Royal Chateau, is only a couple of minutes away. The breakfast needs much improving
