I stayed several nights at this hotel while exploring the castles of the valley. The location is fine, if you choose to stay in Blois: almost opposite the railway station, ca. 7 minutes away from the Royal Palace of Blois. The downtown Blois is ca. 15 minutes away, and that's where it's worth heading for dinner. The shuttle bus ('la navette') that goes to the castles of Chambord, Cheverny & Beauregard stops near the railway station, too - so it's possible to visit them without renting a car.

The room was ok, definitely not posh, but clean and quite comfortable. There was even a bathtub - a bit too small, but still better than no bath at all.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Practically everyone spoke good English. I'd like to thank them for their attention and assistance during my stay.

Good price for the room, but if you are sensitive to noise than forget it.
Very bad sound isolation, we could hear everything what was happening outside our room, even our neighbours using toilet.
Other features were OK, it is clean, comfortable bed, good wi-fi signal.
Staff were helpful.
Place is little bit worn off, but nothing serious.
Breakfast is basic.

Our family of two adults and two kids had the perfect room here. It was one room with a king bed, a dividing wall, and two twins on the other side. On the king side was a sink and shower, on the twin side was a toilet and sink. Room was very clean, soap provided but no shampoo.

Wifi is free, make sure you get a code for each person from the desk, and each device as well, as they are single use codes.

Breakfast was typical French spread, quite good, very convenient. We had a rental car and street parking was very easy in a metered spot.

very friendly lady, when I booked, I accidentally booked the wrong date, I rang to explain and the error. she confirmed the change and courteously spoke English. on arrival she upgraded us to a larger room on a lower floor free of charge. the hotel is ideally placed if travelling by train. as you can see the train station but no noise can be heard. there is free parking at the hotel and free on street parking after 6.30pm but you have to be gone or pay at 9am. rooms were basic and clean with wifi that worked well. the lady gave us some places to eat locally which was very good. we were just passing through so it served our needs.

It took us couple of turns to find the hotel because the most streets near the hotel are one way. Very easy to find by foot from the train station. Don't be afraid from the proximity to the train station. There is absolutely no noise. Very small street and almost no cars going through. There is a hotel parking for €8 per day, but we arrived on Sunday and by the advise of the hotel owner parked our car on the street for €1, that gave us time till 9:45 Monday morning.
She also advised us about the restaurant Hote Antique not far from the hotel. Very good restaurant, but not a cheep one. Dinner for 2 costs ~€90. Just keep in mind that most of the restaurants are open for dinner after 7 pm only.
Now about the rooms. Our room was very nicely renovated with a very well equipped bathroom with two shower heads, a very bright room with two windows and well working heating (too well, we had to lower it down to setting 2). The only indication of an old building were the squeaky floors, but that never bothered us. The amazing part was that we couldn't hear any neighbors or people passing through the corridor.
There is also a breakfast area and a bar on the first floor.
I highly recommend this hotel to all who is looking for a top 2 star hotel and doesn't need a fridge in the room.

Room Tip: Just ask the owner, she is a very honest classy woman.
