The hotel is a basic hotel in the heart of Blois. Roadwork around the hotel left no place to drop off luggage at the hotel but it wasn't a very long walk from the parking garage. In their favor: I received an email at least a month in advance of our stay that informed me of this so I was able to be sure I knew how to get to the chateau's garage.

We stayed one night and did not eat at the hotel. Service was fine, although we were checked into a room with one bed when we reserved a room with two. The woman at the front desk seemed confused about it when I told her but the problem was solved.

We walked all around Blois from this central starting point. Very convenient location.

Ibis hotel, as such very predictable. Standard room furnishings, adequate and satisfactory if a tiny bit long in the tooth. Inexpensive, so nothing to complain About. But we liked this one extra: very centrally located (Blois Chateau and centre ville), supercomfy beds, meticulously clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Parking nearby (you get a discount through the hotel reception).

This hotel is good and quite, it is also well located (5 minutes walk to the castle).
Rooms are clean and brekfast is good.
Ask them for car parking before coming because they dont have their own parking but they have an agreement with the town's parking "Le chateau" near the hotel.

Hello,

I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay, and I will transfert your complements to our staff.
We are indeed very close to the Château Royal of Blois, and the historical center. Once parked the car, you can visit everything by foot.

Maybe we see you again next year ? It would be a pleasure

Kind Regards

The hotel is located close to everything in this town. Due to roadworks the hotel is less accessible at the time of visiting, but the nearby underground parking "chateau" solves this issue. The parking is inexpensive, 8€ a day. The rooms fill every basic need, and probably shouldn't offer more because you're there for the town and landmarks and not for your room! The staff was always very friendly, both at the reception desk and breakfast area. Maybe a little remark concerning the bathroom: our shower had a shower curtain which feels less hygienic than a glass door. (But it still was clean)

Thank you for your feedback. The staff will be pleased to hear compliments.
The hôtel hasn't been renovated yet, but the glass door in our bathrooms are on our list :)
Hope to see you next year,

Well up to the usual standard for this hotel. Friendly service and clean rooms with very comfortable large double beds . No problem moving room too near to air-conditioning units to a quitter location. Good breakfast but no cooked eggs and bacon, albeit there was ham and boil-your-own eggs. However, fruit available on exit from breakfast room to take away with you was a nice touch. At the price charged, tea making facilities in the rooms should be included.

Room Tip: If a light sleeper, use top floor rooms at the back away from air-conditiing and traffic noise.
