Great little hotel for a stop over. Rooms a clean and a good size. Staff were friendly with great English. Parking was free and the town centre was only a 10 minute walk.
I suggest walking through the park on you way to town as the gardens are beautiful.

This hotel is within easy walking distance into Dijon about 5 minutes. We chose this hotel because of its location and it had parking which was a big bonus. The hotel is quaint however there are no lifts. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin so we heard every noise from our neighbours. It was very clean however whilst travelling in France i noticed that they have very uncomfortable pillows this was a long roll which you both shared. Breakfast was basic. We paid 75.60 euros for 1 night with 1 breakfast however it was adequate for a one night stay.

We received a warm welcome having parked (charged, but cheap) on the street outside the hotel. This spotlessly clean hotel is decorated somewhat like a stately home and is really quite charming. The rooms were a good size, comfy, nicely decorated & had good bathrooms.
The gentleman on reception gave us lots of information on where to find restaurants & the local sights.
When we came down to breakfast, the dining room was full, so we were immediately given a table in the adjacent smaller room. A nice touch (I'm not human until I have my first coffee of the day). The breakfast was good and plentiful and served efficiently and cheerfully. I'd not hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel Victor Hugo is conveniently located and easily walkable to the train station and downtown historic Dijon. Located on a quiet street, the people at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the wifi works well. Breakfast is extra but very affordable and just the thing to start the day.

The hotel is located within convenient walking distance from Dijon's historical center and the restaurant area around the market square. The facilities are quite good, except the lack of an elevator. The staff was very friendly and helpful (it may help that I speak French). The garage was a plus.

Room Tip: My room facing the garden was perfectly quiet.
